Sunday was Cheeyan Vikram’s birthday. And it was celebrated with a purpose by his fan clubs across Tamil Nadu, by doing various social welfare activities and by reaching out to the needy.

At T Nagar in Chennai, where the headquarters of Vikram’s fan clubs is located, large number of members took part in the celebrations and financial assistance was given to the downtrodden.

Directors Vijay and Dharani (who are close friends to the actor) and Vikram’s father Vinod Raj attended the function where a big cake was also cut. Similar celebrations took place all over the State too.

An office-bearer said, “This year is special to us as we are going to have the release of ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ soon. We distributed iron boxes, tailoring machines and sarees to several poor people.”
